Seaspan partners with Pride at Work Canada to help build a more inclusive workplace

As part of our efforts to foster a culture that is respectful, inclusive, and reflective of all team members at Seaspan, we are pleased to announce our partnership with Pride at Work Canada. Through dialogue, education, and thought leadership, Pride at Work Canada empowers employers to build workplaces that celebrate all employees regardless of gender expression, gender identity, and sexual orientation.

Seaspan joins more than 250 Canadian employers as part of the Pride at Work Canada community, sharing best practices and provoking thought on the most current issues facing 2SLGBTQIA+ Canadians in the workplace. With the support of senior leadership and funding from Seaspan’s DEI Committee, the partnership was driven by Seaspan Pride, our employee group that represents, supports, encourages, and champions diversity, equity, and inclusion across our organization.

For more than 100 years, Seaspan has been an important part of the development of British Columbia and its industries—and, in return, we strive to make sure that our organization is always evolving and progressing. We want to be a role model for business, and we have the vision and courage to drive change.
