A groundbreaking ceremony last week marked the official beginning of construction on the long-awaited Operations Centre at Vancouver Drydock; a two-story building that will house operations ranging from administration & safety offices through to lunchrooms, locker rooms, washrooms, and other supporting spaces.
Visitors to Vancouver Drydock will be familiar with the existing temporary shelters erected to support personnel who were displaced by site changes, but a permanent home is now much needed as the team prepares for the expansion of its water lot in the near-future.
