Jim joined Seaspan Shipyards in October 2018 and is the Senior Vice President for Engineering and Planning. Jim brings more than 35 years of worldwide experience in shipbuilding, planning and engineering to this role.
Prior to Joining Seaspan, Jim was employed by Raytheon Australia and General Dynamics Bath Ironworks where he held senior leadership positions in the US Navy destroyer programs and the Royal Australian Navy Air Warfare Destroyer Programs.
Jim graduated from Maine Maritime Academy in 1982, with a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering.
As Senior Vice President for Engineering and Planning, Jim directs pre-production across engineering and planning and is responsible for the estimating functions within the shipyard.
