Frank joined Seaspan ULC in March 2017 before becoming Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in April 2017. In this role, he is responsible for developing and implementing the strategic plan, making major corporate decisions, managing the overall operations and resources of the company, and acting as the main point of contact between the Board of Directors and corporate operations.
Prior to this appointment at Seaspan, Frank worked as the President and CEO of Southern Railway of British Columbia Limited (SRY) and its subsidiary company Southern Railway of Vancouver Island Limited (SVI). He began his railway career in 1993 with SRY after graduating from Simon Fraser University with a degree in Economics. Over the course of his career Frank was responsible for business development activities and was promoted to Executive Vice President in the spring of 2006 and President & CEO of Southern Rail in January 2008.
In addition to his role at Seaspan, Frank is a member of the Greater Vancouver Gateway Council and serves as a Director on the board of the Royal Columbia Hospital Foundation. He also formerly served as Director on the Railway Association of Canada board.
