Vancouver Drydock is seeking an Air Quality Permit from Metro Vancouver for its operations in North Vancouver, BC. The permit is to allow existing operations to continue. There is no proposed change in operations or uses.

Located in the Lower Lonsdale area, Vancouver Drydock provides a full range of quality services for the local marine industry including vessel conversion, repair, maintenance and dry-docking services. Vancouver Drydock is a large local employer that provides well-paid jobs for approximately 200 trades and office staff.

The permit application is at the request of Metro Vancouver. Vancouver Drydock has not been previously asked to make such an application.

The application is not the result of any change in operations or any anticipated increase in emissions. The facility will continue to operate as it does today, in accordance with safety and environmental guidelines.
