Graeme joined Seaspan Shipyards as the Vice President, Program Management in June 2012.
Prior to joining the company, Graeme spent 13 years with BAE Systems in the UK. During that time he held various positions including Program Director with responsibility for leading the design and construction of advanced destroyers, frigates and assault ships for the British Royal Navy, as well as complex offshore patrol vessels for overseas customers. Graeme began his career as an electrical apprentice before obtaining his Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Glasgow and his Master of Business Administration from Strathclyde Graduate Business School.
In the role of Vice President, Portfolio Management Graeme will lead the Prime Contract Office. He is responsible for the execution of large and complex shipbuilding contracts and operates as the primary interface between VSY and the customer. Graeme is also accountable for the identification and evaluation of potential opportunities, as well as the development and implementation of strategies and tactics necessary to win selected opportunities. He will also develop the cost and schedule data required to execute the programs and recommends suitable pricing approaches to the actual bidding.
