North Vancouver, B.C. – Following 11 action-packed days delivering a wide range of repair services, Seaspan’s Vancouver Drydock is pleased to announce that its refit activities on Oceania Cruise’s Regatta cruise ship were completed on schedule June 6, 2014.
Arriving on May 27 and departing on June 6, the 30,277 ton, 684-person capacity vessel underwent an extensive scope of work that included dry docking, general repairs and maintenance, and a variety of logistical support and specialized services.
“This truly was an all-hands-on-deck job at our state-of-the-art facilities in North Vancouver,” said Paul Hebson Vice President and General Manager, Vancouver Drydock. “Over the course of the project we employed almost 250 workers, delivering quality services literally thousands of hours a day, around the clock, and I couldn’t be happier with the final product.”
